Missouri's symbol is the Gateway Arch: the 192 m stainless-steel monument to westward expansion, with the museum underneath and the tram ride to the top. St. Louis also holds Forest Park's free museums and zoo, and the Anheuser-Busch brewery tour.
Kansas City is the BBQ capital (burnt ends were born here) with the National WWI Museum and the 18th and Vine jazz district. The Ozarks' lakes and the Branson entertainment strip cover the south.
