Toronto City Guide
The CN Tower, Toronto. Photo via Wikimedia Commons.
Toronto is Canada's largest city and its economic engine: four million people in the city proper, over half born outside Canada. The CN Tower still defines the skyline, but the real Toronto is in the neighbourhoods, each with its own main street.
The essentials: the tower, the Royal Ontario Museum, St. Lawrence Market, and the ferry to the Toronto Islands for the skyline view. Eat everywhere: this is one of the great food cities of North America.
