Guelmim-Oued Noun Travel Guide

Guelmim calls itself the Gateway to the Sahara, and its Saturday camel market is the real thing: herders from the desert trading camels, goats and sheep. The region marks the transition from the Anti-Atlas to true desert.
The coast is the draw for most visitors: Legzira beach, with its great natural sandstone arches (one of the two famous arches collapsed in 2016, the others stand), and Sidi Ifni, the Spanish colonial town with its remarkable Art Deco seafront.
