Béni Mellal-Khénifra is the waterfall region. The Ouzoud Falls drop 110 metres through olive groves in the Azilal province, among the highest falls in North Africa, with Barbary macaques in the trees above.
Beyond the falls: the Bin el Ouidane lake in the Atlas foothills, the 'Happy Valley' of Aït Bouguemez, and Imilchil, famous for its September Marriage Festival. Most travelers pass through between Marrakech and Fès.
