Plomari on the south coast of Lesbos is the ouzo capital of Greece, home to the famous distilleries whose names are on bottles worldwide. The town has a handsome waterfront and the Ouzo Museum of Barbayanni in a 19th-century distillery. It is quieter and more traditional than the island's north.
