Rafina is Athens's second port, closer to the airport than Piraeus and the main departure point for the northern Cyclades: Andros, Tinos and Mykonos. It is a small, practical harbor town rather than a resort, with a long promenade of fish tavernas facing the ferries. Many island-hoppers pass through without stopping.
