Provincial capital of Ha Giang and the start and finish of the Ha Giang Loop. Riders pick up motorbikes here before heading for the Ma Pi Leng Pass and the Dong Van karst plateau. The town itself is a small highland market hub where Hmong, Tay and other groups come to trade.
