Parga is the Epirus coast's prettiest resort town: pastel houses climbing to a Venetian castle above a curved harbor. Valtos and Lichnos beaches flank the headland, and boat trips run to the Acheron river mouth. It is busiest in summer, when the waterfront tavernas fill until late.
