Florina is the northernmost major town of Western Macedonia, close to the borders with Albania and North Macedonia. It is the gateway to the Vigla-Pisoderi ski center and to the Prespa lakes. The Sakoulevas river runs through its center, lined with neoclassical buildings and cafes.
