Nha Trang City Guide

Nha Trang is Vietnam's classic beach resort: a long curving bay, a promenade of high-rises, and islands scattered offshore. It draws Russian and Chinese package tourists in volume, but the bay is genuinely beautiful and the seafood is excellent.
The 7 km beach is the centre of gravity: swimming, island boat tours and the Vinpearl cable car to Hon Tre Island. The Po Nagar Cham Towers, 7th to 12th century, sit on a hill north of town. The mud baths at Thap Ba and the Long Son Pagoda fill the non-beach hours.
