Vietnam's 3,260 km of coastline holds some of Southeast Asia's best beaches, and the central coast holds the best of them: Da Nang's My Khe, Nha Trang's long bay, and the islands of Phu Quoc and Con Dao.
The dry season runs roughly February to August on the central coast; the south's islands are best November to April.
