Can Tho City Guide

Can Tho is the capital of the Mekong Delta: a riverside city of 1.2 million where the Hau River sets the rhythm. It is the base for the delta's great sight, the Cai Rang floating market, and the most rewarding city in the region to stay in.
Cai Rang starts before dawn: hundreds of wooden boats trading pineapples, watermelons and coffee on the water. Back in town, the Ninh Kieu waterfront, the Binh Thuy ancient house and the night market fill the day. The delta's orchard islets and Tra Su forest make easy day trips.
