Tula
Tula
The town of Tula in Tamaulipas calls itself the oldest town in the state, founded in 1617. A Pueblo Mágico with a colonial center around the San Antonio de Padua church, it is the birthplace of the cuera tulteca, the fringed leather costume of Tamaulipas. Distinct from Tula, Hidalgo and its Toltec ruins.
