Sombrerete

Founded in 1555 as a silver-mining center, once among the richest towns in New Spain. Its historic center is part of the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro UNESCO World Heritage listing, and the nearby Sierra de Órganos National Park rises in dramatic rock formations. A Pueblo Mágico since 2012.
