Progreso

Yucatan's main port on the Gulf, famous for its 6.5-kilometer pier, one of the longest in the world. The malecon fills with Meridanos on weekends for seafood and sea breezes. Cruise ships dock here, and the nearby Chicxulub crater marks the dinosaur-extinction impact zone.
