Metepec

A pottery town on the edge of Toluca, famous for its Tree of Life (árbol de la vida) ceramics, elaborate clay sculptures of biblical and folk scenes. Craft shops line the main streets, and the Calvario chapel sits atop a small hill. It is a Pueblo Mágico.
