Hermosillo

The state capital in the Sonoran Desert, a hot, modern city beneath the Cerro de la Campana viewpoint hill. The cathedral and the Plaza Zaragoza anchor the center, and the surrounding desert blooms with pitaya in summer. It is the gateway to the beaches of Bahía de Kino and San Carlos.
