The main gateway to the Copper Canyon, a former logging town on the Chepe railway line. Rarámuri crafts fill the plaza shops, and nearby wonders include the Cusárare and Basaseachi waterfalls, the Valley of the Monks rock formations, and Lake Arareko. Most canyon trips start here.
