Celestún

A quiet fishing village on the west coast, gateway to the Ría Celestún Biosphere Reserve where thousands of flamingos feed in the estuary. Boat tours wind through mangroves past pelicans and crocodiles to freshwater springs. The beach is wide, calm, and nearly empty on weekdays.
