Batopilas

A small town at the bottom of the Batopilas canyon, deep in the Copper Canyon system, reached by a dramatic winding road. It was a silver-mining center from the 18th to the early 20th century, and the hacienda ruins recall its wealthy past. Designated a Pueblo Mágico in 2012.
