Atlixco

Known as the city of flowers for its nurseries and flower-covered facades, set in a valley with sweeping views of Popocatépetl. The colonial center climbs a hill to the San Miguel church, and murals brighten the zocalo. The Huey Atlixcáyotl festival each September gathers dancers from across Puebla.
