Peggy's Cove

A tiny fishing village 45 minutes from Halifax, home to Canada's most photographed lighthouse. The 1915 lighthouse stands on wave-washed granite at the tip of the cove. It is a working fishing village first, with lobster boats and weathered sheds, and the surf here is genuinely dangerous, so stay off the black rocks.
