A UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the best-preserved planned British colonial towns in North America. Its waterfront of colourful wooden buildings holds the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic and the Bluenose II, the replica of the famous racing schooner. Founded in 1753, it keeps its original street grid.
