Foça
Foça
Foça, ancient Phocaea, is a double-bayed fishing town north of Izmir named for the Mediterranean monk seals (foka) that still visit the Siren Rocks offshore. The old town's stone houses and small fortresses give it a low-key, lived-in charm.
