Eskişehir

Eskişehir is Anatolia's student city on the Porsuk river, famous for gondola rides, the restored Odunpazarı wooden houses and a meerschaum (lületaşı) carving tradition. It is young, liberal and lively: the anti-stereotype of the steppe.
