A near-ghost silver-mining town at 2,700 meters, reached through the long Ogarrio tunnel. Abandoned mansions and a ruined bullring give it a haunted beauty, and the Wirikuta desert below is sacred to the Wixárika people. It is a Pueblo Mágico and a pilgrimage site.
