The UNESCO-listed capital of Michoacán, built almost entirely of pink cantera stone. Its baroque cathedral dominates a grand historic center, and the 1.7-kilometer aqueduct is a city symbol. Conservatory concerts and the Day of the Dead celebrations give it a year-round cultural calendar.
