Lagos de Moreno

A colonial city in the Los Altos region, founded in 1563 as a defensive outpost on the road north. Its historic center and the Puente de Lagos are part of the Camino Real de Tierra Adentro UNESCO World Heritage listing. The parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción anchors the main square.
