Cuitzeo

A Pueblo Mágico since 2006, set on the shore of Lake Cuitzeo, Mexico's second-largest freshwater lake. Its 16th-century Augustinian monastery is one of the best-preserved in the country, with a vast atrium and plateresque church. The lake's sunsets draw weekend visitors from Morelia.
