Akumal

A small beach community between Playa del Carmen and Tulum whose bay is a feeding ground for green sea turtles, often seen grazing a few meters from shore. The nearby Yal-ku lagoon mixes fresh spring water with the sea for calm snorkeling. It grew from one of the Riviera Maya's first dive lodges.
