The Caribbean's greatest export is music: Jamaica's reggae, Cuba's son, the DR's merengue and bachata, Puerto Rico's salsa and reggaetón, Barbados' soca and calypso. Every island has a sound; every sound has a street.
The live circuit: Kingston's Dub Club and street dances, Havana's Casa de la Música, Santiago's Casa de la Trova, San Juan's La Placita, and the fetes of Crop Over season.
