The main city of the Eastern Townships, set where the Magog and Saint-François rivers meet, nicknamed the Queen of the Eastern Townships. It is a bilingual university city, home to Université de Sherbrooke and Bishop's University, with a striking downtown mural circuit that tells its industrial history in giant paintings. The surrounding Townships add lakes, ski hills, and wine routes.
