Jasper

The main townsite in Jasper National Park, the quieter, wilder sibling of Banff. It is surrounded by Maligne Lake, the northern reaches of the Columbia Icefield, and elk that wander the streets. A designated Dark Sky Preserve, it is one of the best stargazing spots in the Rockies.
