Huntsville

The largest town in Muskoka, and the main gateway to Algonquin Provincial Park from the west. Surrounded by lakes and Canadian Shield forest, it is a four-season base for canoeing, hiking, and fall colours, with Arrowhead Provincial Park's famous forest ice-skating trail just north of town. It hosted the 2010 G8 summit at Deerhurst Resort.
