Churchill

The subarctic town on Hudson Bay known as the polar bear capital of the world. Each October and November, bears gather near town waiting for the bay to freeze, viewed from specially built Tundra Buggies. Summer brings thousands of beluga whales to the Churchill River estuary, and winter nights bring the northern lights.
